路Next one on the chopping block. Here is the rare chance to grab a black dialled Conquest in really nice condition.
Longines Conquest Calendar 19AS Black Dial
at a glance
Conquest ref. 9000
- serial no. 10458xxx dates back to ca. 1957
- cal. 19AS
- original dial with steel markers and hands
- solid steel case (35,2 mm without crown)
- signed original crown
- gold medallion on caseback "Fish in Kelp" Longines Seal of Quality
- New handmade barenia leather strap and generic buckle
the dial
The original black gilt dial of this Conquest is in very good condition without spotting or heavy signs of age. Very crisp fonts and minute track. Really one of the nicest black Conquest dials I have seen. There is a very faint mark between centre and three o clock barely visible with the naked eye.
Dial and hands still hold original lume which has aged to a dark colour.
the case
The stainless steel case is in good condition with sharp and fat lugs. All edges and chamfers still present and only with superficial scratches. There is one ding in the middle of the upper right horn.
The caseback shows some light scratches. The gold medallion on the back "fish in kelp" still holds 90 percent of its enamel and is still well defined. You can still find the original turning marks on the case back. That point and the fat lugs with the well defined chamfers make me think it's still unpolished.
the movement
Clean Longines in-house caliber ref. 19AS. The watch winds and sets very smooth and the movement is running well, but there is no known service history and therewith it would benefit from a fresh clean and oil if you want to wear it regularly.
the strap
The Conquest comes on a new high quality handmade barenia leather strap. Which was made to order for me.
the price
I am asking 1099 EUR (or the equivalent in USD) to me for this nice and iconic 1955 Conquest.
Bankwire is preferred, paypal please add 4% (payment to be done in Euro please in case of paypal). The watch and I are located in Germany. I will be happy to work out the best shipping option with you. EMS Mail, UPS, DHL Express...
I have references here on OF, on German watch forums and a lot of positive feedback on ebay.

Please have a look at the pictures and feel free to answer to this thread or PM me directly if you have any questions. No returns unless condition of the watch is grossly misrepresented.
Thanks for looking!馃榾 and also many thanks to OF for the possibility to offer!馃憤
