    Those hands don't look like replacements to me. Triangular lumed hands are seen on later 20217-4 Polerouters.

    Here's a picture of my 20217-4 with the same hands. It has serial number 1,825,xxx and I suspect the OP's watch has a similarly late serial.

    I think the term is being used to describe gold text on a black dial - it appears more silver in the OP's photo but I think the text is gold, as is mine above.

    I think a true "gilt dial" as you might hear some early Rolexes described, has the text not printed on the black lacquered background but shining through in negative relief.
