1956 Omega Seamaster XVI Olympic Box (Ref. 2850SC)

My grandpa was in the Navy, died back in 2009 I was much younger when he was alive so the watch he wore never was a thought in my mind until i stumbled upon this now at 30 years old knowing what Omega is and the value of it while cleaning up my grandma's house since she no longer is able to live alone. She said he never took the watch off i.e. hes buried in it. So the box is what's left. Ive Google searched it but maybe you guys could narrow down a year or the quality/value given the condition of the box?

I would think that鈥檚 a reasonable price as I doubt you would ever find a complete package like that anywhere.

I鈥檝e never seen those Omega pins before.

Yes this is obviously a box for the Olympic Seamaster OT 2850 but the box lacks the insert (watch holder) as so often...
