Hello, I have a really nice example of 1956 Omega Seamaster 2828-8 SC in stainless steel with beautiful “bailey’s Irish cream” dial. Crosshairs + waffle dial. Some small flecks visible on the dial, but overall in great condition. “Swiss Made” at the bottom of the dial” with stick hour markers. Dial appears to be original. Price: $600USD net to me, either by wire transfer or PayPal (+4%), plus actual price of shipping - watch is in Toronto. Case looks like it might be unpolished (who really knows - I’ll say “neglibily polished”) - sharp beefy lugs with chamfers still visible. “Seamaster” and “Waterproof” inscriptions fully visible on the caseback. Caseback also bears the inscription: “JLP, from Helen, Christmas 1960”. Movement: automatic, calibre 471, in lovely condition. Runs and keeps time - service history unknown. Case Dimensions: 32mm Crown: replacement Hands: Dauphine, appear to be original. Crystal: domed mineral crystal in great condition. Strap: currently on Hirsch leather strap in reasonably condition.
Received an offer on the ‘Bay but would prefer to deal here if possible. $530 is my offer - if anyone is interested at that number let me know.
