    Hi All,

I've a 6B/159 which seems to have developed a sticky motion (layman's description) where the second hand seems to stop whilst passing the minute hand.

I'd like to find someone to take a look at this and also give the watch a general service.

Can anyone recommend somewhere local to Oxford in the UK? Would ideally like to take it somewhere rather than posting.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Dammit, excellent watchmaker's all over the country are thoughtlessly going blind or dying and then some of them have the sheer gall to "retire"?

(Seriously, John we've never met but I envy you the ability to take it easy - enjoy it).

    Hello Chris.

Do they need to be very local to Oxford?
This bloke is only a couple of hours drive across country to Essex. Not a bad drive. M40, M25, A12. You could make an afternoon of it???
