    Hello!

Do you think this 60 year old dial is autentic, looks almost to perfect?

When was the year they started to repaint dials? did they do it even back in the 70s 80s?

Some of the minute / second hash marks look uneven so I'd call it a very good refinish, but I've been wrong before and it might be the photograph.

Dial refinishing has always been offered, and sometimes dials were repainted as part of a normal service. Nobody cared what their watch would be worth to a collector 40+ years in the future. Most people just want it clean and pretty without regard to originality.

Looks pretty original to me.....but agree with Dennis on the slash marks, it could sway either way..and more 50's looking?

90% sure it's original. It's got the circular guilloche in the subdial and the lume dots are fairly even. Don't touch them without gloves as they are likely still radioactive.
