I like bumpers and a friend proposed me this watch, I personally liked it a lot, even if the conditions are creepy, but lately I'm liking more and more bad original dials than beautiful cosmetic ones. He asked me to propose a price, I said him 351 euros feeling that it could be too much or far too much. He replied me that is too low.
What do you think of the watch in general and what would be its value?
Thank you very much for your support.

I think you had a lucky escape that your friend didn't accept your offer.

You were extremely generous offering €351.

It's a great looking watch with tons of character, but I think this is a case of your friend thinking that watch is valuable just because it's old and says "Omega" on it.

Upon your opinion, how much would be a fair price on this example?

For a parts watch with a poor dial, incorrect hands and worn movement, no more than 100 Euro.

Ref 2677, I believe (not 2877). I suspect the hands are wrong.

Looks like a Ref. 2577. Missing case clamps as well.

BTW, I was being generous with that 100 Euro. I suspect that you can find cal. 351 parts movements for less.

I'll counter with this: 100 euro isn't too much money if the watch looks good to you and you'd be happy to wear it. The dial looks pretty cool and it's a nice piece all around despite its flaws. It's just not particularly collectible or valuable.

But I doubt your friend will part with his "treasure" for so little so it's probably best to walk away. ;)

Thank you very much everybody, I was about to make a mistake, maybe forcing my hand. It's good to rely on you. Thanks again.

351 euros is too much, but can some-one show me ANY vintage Omega for sale at 100euros ?

It would fetch minimum €200 on ebay IMO. Our (OF members) opinions are not exactly reflective of 'the market'.
