1950s automatic, help with date & model

New here, thanks for having me. I have a couple of vintage Omegas and occasionally buy and sell them. I recently bought what appears to be a 1950 Automatic with 351 movement and ref 2637-2 (inside the caseback). I love the two-tone dial and two tone case. I can only find one other example online that has this dial. The info on the web on serial numbers that I can find dates this SN to 1950, but I'm not sure how accurate that info is. Also, I've seen Seamasters that aren't labeled Seamaster on the dial. Could this be a seamaster or does anyone know if this one has a model name? Serial number is 12476### (see photo). I really want to keep this watch but I have to let it go unfortunately and will be listing it.
Thanks!

1950 is a good estimate. This case is generally called gold-capped, not two-tone. The OVD lists it as part of the international collection, not a Seamaster, so I don't know if you can really say it's a Seamaster even though it's certainly very similar. The crown doesn't appear to be signed.

BTW, backdoor sales posts are not allowed, sales require 200 posts per the rules.

Thank you, Dan S. Appreciate the heads up on the rules, no problem there. I initially didn't intend to offer it here, but saw that there were watches available so I mentioned my intent. By gold-capped, are you referring to the case or the dial? Even though unmarked, I assumed the gold lugs were gold filled/RGP. Also, sorry but I'm new to this term but I'm not familiar with OVD. Can you let me know what that is? Thanks!

Google a gold capped case. Much better than gold filled. It’s a thick layer of gold over stainless. Look at the back of the lugs , stainless. Not a thin layer of gold over crappy base metal.

Omega vintage database, like I linked.
