·For sale or trade is an uncommon Seamaster Chronometre w/ a 352RG movement dating to 1950. The two-tone dial has developed a nice even patina. The 2577 reference case is in nice condition but has been polished. The 352RG movement is clean and is running well, but service history is unknown so (as usual) a service is recommended prior to regular use.
Additional details are below, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Dial: Original, non-refinished, two-tone dial is in nice condition with an even patina. 3/6/9/12 markers are an attractive dial variation (in my opinion) as they catch the light quite nicely. Lume plots are largely intact with an attractive color at 3/6/9/12 but most others have darkened. Original hands have some oxidation. "Swiss Made" text is present below the 6 marker as expected.
Case: Original 34.5mm 2577-8 reference stainless steel case is in nice condition with no significant scratches, but it has been polished.
Crown: Original clover crown is in nice condition.
Crystal: Signed Omega crystal (Omega logo at center). Free of scratches.
Movement: Original 352RG caliber bumper automatic movement is in nice cosmetic condition and is running well. However, service history is unknown so as with all of my watches without service history, a service is recommended prior to regular use. Serial number dates the watch to 1950 (Seamaster line was introduced in 1948, so this one is pretty early).
Strap: Comes on an 18mm generic brown leather strap with steel buckle (not the strap pictured). The watch also looks great on a beads of rice bracelet, and I have a spare original Omega one if you are interested at extra cost - let me know if you're interested and I can send more photos.
Price is $1,350. Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters, Constellations, Geneves, Conquests, and Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here). I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping is available but to be discussed with buyer. PayPal preferred for payment. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in Seattle, WA, USA.
