Up for sale is a 1950 Hamilton CLD Steeldon. As the name suggests, the case is stainless steel. The case is a top loading, supposedly weather resistant and dust resistant at that time. It measures about 32mm in diameter, not including the crown. Lug width is 16mm. The manually wound movement keeps good time, although I do not know the service history. Glass crystal appears original and in great shape. The dial has a nice caramel patina with raised silver markers. I'm asking $150 or best reasonable offer. Returns accepted if not as described. Watch is located in Ohio. Lots of positive feedback on here and other forums. Please message me for inquires.
Thanks,
Matt

These watches were cutting edge for water resistance when they came out and some of the most beautiful Hamilton’s ever made IMO. They are small, but lovely to wear. The Steelydon is one of the rarer ones as the gold ones were most popular.

Nice piece at a nice price and thanks for offering it to this community.
