Dear all. Hereby offering for sale my hand-wound jumbo Doxa from 1950. The 38mm case is chromed and doesn't have much in the way of damage. The lower part of the lugs have, as shown, parts where the plating has worn off. The crown is likely to be a replacement, as it seems slightly too small for the watch case. The watch takes a 20mm strap and comes with the one on the photos. The movement is a Doxa-labeled ETA 2408 which winds and runs well, but there is no service history to go with the watch. Buying this watch will also entitle you to a nomination for the 2017 OFfies in the "Biggest Movement Spacer" category The dial is the star of the show - stunning patina turning the originally silver coloured dial into a creme brûlée/coffee shade, evenly distrubuted on the face. The gold coloured markers and hands are perfect and without stains or similar. I am asking €200 for this, PP included. Shipping at cost anywhere in the world.
