1950 Cal 265 Accuracy

1950, probably January 1950 based on the serial number, cal 265.

The amazing thing about it is that it has 276 degrees amplitude dial up, 1.3ms beat error, and it runs, on the wrist, at plus or minus zero seconds a day!

I can't get my head around it. It drops lkke a second for two hours or something then bounces back to zero for like the next eight hours.

It is more accurate than a Casio. It is doing my head in.

Forty hour power reserve. Good case geometry, untouched dial and hands. It has had a replacement crown (probably more than one) but it is an omega crown. And it has had a replacement crystal (probably more than several)...

I feel like I'm going bonkers. Only had it a few days and I'm not believing what I'm measuring. Is this like, common?

This has been all week!

I own four other omegas and they are all excellent but this is the oldest and I can't work out how or why it is so stunningly good. Any one else had this experience? It is my first cal 265 so I have nothing to compare it to. Well I have a 501, and a 601, and others...but nothing this old....
