Hi everybody,

Someone has any idea what watch is this ? the owner knows less then me and the only thing that he could tell me was that it has a 30T2 Calibre.

To sum up I´m not sure if this watch is fake or not, or if it worth anything, the only thing i spot is that the hands seem not to match with the dial, due to the lack of lume. What you guys think ? Thanks

 

Certainly not a 2384 as that one has a screw-down caseback. The hands could well be correct to the watch, but the dial has been repainted.

Does it look original? There is no "Swiss Made" inscription, but in my opinion the dial does not look repainted

@mac_omega, thank for your answer. I also have a question: what is the difference between the military 2179 and the civilian 2384 and why is one dial "Swiss Made" and the other not? I read in some topic on OF that a dial without "Swiss Made" is a redial

 

Ref 2179 and ref 2384 both came in civilian and military versions. They have radially orientated numerals, not upright as in your watch.
And they have "U.S. Army" enbossed on the outside of the caseback.
Your watch is a civilian version.
