    Hi All, new by here, Can someone maybe help me with info on a vintage Omega that feel like it is fully wound up but after winding as normal just did not start ticking, what could the fault be.

    Fully wound and not running = need to be serviced.

    This is is the equivalent of saying "my car won't start, what's wrong with it".

    A watchmaker will sort ill sort you and it'll be perfect

    Cool thanks for the responce guys. Now who do I trust to service this old gem of a time piece in South Africa, or should I send it to Switzerland rather.

    I wouldn't send it to Switzerland due to the cost. If there are no recommended SA watchmakers you could try one of the UK guys
    on here, STS or watchguy etc.
