For sale: Tissot ref. 6216-8 vintage chronograph About 35/36mm excluding crown, 18mm lugsize 1947 serial number The watch is sold head only, but with invoice of the full service performed (dated last week) Shipping happens bomb-proof and through UPS express Lemania CH27-41H (aka Omega cal. 321) Asking price: 1950 euro with EU shipping included (worldwide is no problem, contact me for quotes) Pretty 1940s chrono, with waterproof case, bi-color effect dial (the edge is finished differently, creating a very nice 'dome' effect) and legendary movement. Unusual 'teardrop' markers. Blued hands (subdials and sweep seconds). The unpolished case is sharp as a knife, with lovely facets on the lugs. Very nice unspoiled condition. I bought this one in the US as a barn find. The watch has just been fully serviced with renowned watchmaker Nico Rijsman with invoice and 1 year of warranty on the work performed. The seals were replaced, a new mainspring was installed and a new plexi crystal was placed (according to the original spec). It runs beautifully. This beauty is 74 years old! What else do you need to know? - light patina on the dial, and a small blemish in the proximity of the 7/8 minute markers - difficult to see and does not draw the attention, but it is there, visible mainly under strong direct artificial light; - some corrosion on the hands, and a bit of missing lume from the minute hand; - inscription on the back (quite charming if you ask me ). Returns are of course allowed if I misrepresented the watch or the condition.
