Found this watch on local ebay..

Possibly fellow forummers could take a look and confirm if this is genuine, never seen it before. What would be a fair value?

    Thanks in advance!!! $_85 (1).JPG $_85.JPG

Dial and hands have been refinished/repainted/replaced and don't conform to each other. Hard to tell what they were originally.
Would need to see movement to assess it's value and condition.

To a collector this may be a parts watch at best.
Value would depend on the movement, it's condition and the collector's need for the specific parts.
    Maybe $50-$200 max?

To a non-collector, it's purely a personal preference thing as to value.
It's somewhat of a representation of a watch that would sell for $500-$1000 if in original, excellent condition.
Worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it but I'm afraid that here, a collector's forum, not much.

Thanks for sharing and good hunting, C.R., Happy Holidays!

Uncle Buck's assessment is spot-on, but just to note that the hands are correct (though re-lumed), it is the chapter ring which has been refinished in the wrong position.
