couldn't find this omega anywhere either, but was told that it was a 1947 model with serial number 11,xxx,xxx. also it is 32mm. Is it worth around 350-400usd? it's serviced, everything original as well except for the strap i think. the crown doesn't have the omega logo, is it supposed to? sorry guys can't get the caseback photo for this either

It's a generic omega dress watch with relumed hands, a helping of patina, and perhaps a replacement seconds hand. The "bowler-hat" crown was typical on watches from that time. Not a military watch by any stretch of the imagination. Is it worth 4 Benjamins? The only way to know is to list it for a $0.99 no-reserve 10-day auction on eBay. ;)

Thank you for your informative answer, it is nice to know more about this, hearing about it being generic and not being a military watch, I feel maybe it might not be worth for 350 usd

It's not a bad watch, but 32mm is a very small men's watch by modern standards. Are you sure that you will be happy with that size?

I have pretty small hands compared to most men, so it isn't too much of a problem honestly, I'm just trying to see if it'd be of good value in the future where I can hand it down to my kids or would it just lose its value easily

Nobody knows how prices will go in the future. However, small, entry-level pieces aren't generally the best financial investment if that's your concern. Also, you will need to have it serviced, at a cost that is a substantial fraction of its value.

alright, thank you so much for the information. it's been said by the seller that it is serviced though. it's not my main concern for it to be a finanical investment, it's more of like i want it to be worth the money getting it

If it's serviced, the watchmaker apparently forgot to reinstall one of the case screws and failed to center the regulator.

    Wow HAHA okay noted..
I think I'll steer clear of it because there's a lot of wrong information provided by the seller

Not sure what you mean by this statement; the regulator is there to adjust rate, not be centered, no?

It has been my experience that a watchmaker generally returns a watch to the customer with the regulator centered, or at least pretty close to center.
