Up for sale is a 1947 Bulova in the art deco style. Dial is in great condition and may have been refinished at some point. I am no expert on this; if it is proven to be the case then I will lower the price accordingly. Glass is in good condition with no evident scratches under light. The watch has a signed crown that appears original. Case is 10k RGP that has been slightly polished but retains edges while lugs are sharp at the ends. Caseback has a brushed finish and slight scratches from wear. Stainless steel caseback with service marks. Inside is a Bulova 8AH (or ETA1000) 17 jewel movement. The 47 just above and to the left of the 8AH designation marks the movement as coming from that year. While it is keeping time, the watch has not been serviced whilst in my possession so I would recommend one before daily use. Dimensions of the watch are as follows: ~21mm across, 22mm with crown, and ~34mm from lug to lug. The watch is fitted with a regular length, black 16mm genuine crocodile leather strap. Made by Hadley Roma, the buckle is plated and the strap will comfortably fit a wrist up to 7" (18cm.) My asking price is $110USD/£85GBP/$145AUD for the watch. This includes PayPal's 2.3% fee (that I am happy to absorb) as well as shipping costs worldwide. I am located in Australia and will post via air post with signature on delivery. Returns will only be possible if the watch is not as described. Please let me know if you have any questions! As this is my first watch I'm selling on any forum I am both nervous and very excited
Apologies, I will revert it immediately (I'm used to the watchexchange reddit where this is the case; I will go over the rules more thoroughly...)
