Lovely 'big eyes' chrono from the 1940's with the, then revolutionary, Breitling Premier recipe for quality; a big 38mm stainless steel waterproof case with screw caseback, waterproof crown, pump pushers, blued hands and the column wheel Venus 175 movement. Correct Breitling Turnheim exportcode 'TXY' is on the bridge.
The case has been slightly polished but the facets on the lugs are still beautifully present, as is the horizontal brushing on the sides. The dial has resisted time in a nice way and shows even divided patina. The radium on the dial and in the hands is original and tested with geigercounter. The plexi crystal is a new replacement. The caseback shows sharp numbers.
This watch has just been fully serviced by my watchmaker, there is still 5.5 months of guarantee on the work. She runs beautifully and the chrono works flawlessly.
The watch is sold head-only. The lug size is 20mm.
