Thinking case original with insides replaced.

The strap is a fixed lug model, so assuming the cased has fixed bars. Could also be spring bars. Can't tell

There are many 6b/159 watches with damaged cases, so for certain there would be a lot of interest in a correct steel midcase and back. Maybe consider finding the correct internals in a poor condition case.
