Hi, does anybody know much about this watch? Where I can get one and what an acceptable price is? This thing keeps popping up on my Pinterest and I have become obsessed with it!

Well.... type on Ebay “omega military” and you will find some of them, that doesn’t mean that all of them are really military watches but as people pay more when they hear that word everyone will list its black dial as “military”.

Be aware 99% of that watches you will find are not 100% original that’s the case of the one you show in the photo, that’s a redial so you will have to make your homework before buying unless you just want a good looking watch and you don’t care if it is 100% original, remember that find a black dial from the 40´s in very good shape is almost impossible.

Here some examples that you will find, I don’t recommend to buy any of them but are there…

That watch looks legit to me - early 1939-1940 jumbo manual wind omega. Dial appears original and in nice shape and the hands and crown look original also.

The watch pictured is not military and as Mike said the dial looks original. It would likely have a 30MM , cal 30t2 movement. They do show up on eBay in various dial styles and sometimes as very nice watches. If you are unsure of a dial or the watch you best bet would be to vet the watch here, before buying. There are a lot of redials and put togethers out there, so you need to be careful.
