··Ωf Jury memberI've been a huge fan of Hodinkee since the very early days, and I actually think it is about time you guys started selling watches. I just don't think this watch meets the Hodinkee standards. If I'm wrong about the watch then my only answer would be to apologize profusely, but I didn't want anyone to think I would make any evaluations lightly.
Good post (which I edited down above), and I agree that the quality of the dial is suspect. Perhaps it is original, but I have my doubts, and am surprised that Hodinkee chose to feature it in their auction.
