1939 Vintage Omega - is it fake or real?

I am looking to purchase a vintage Omega and I am just not sure if it is legitimate. I have gone through many threads on spotting fake Omegas and still have a couple of questions.

A couple of things I looked at for instance are the case number as well as the serial number for the watch, which is in the 9,000,000 – 9,999,999 range. This would date it to 1939.

On the dial, it says "Shock Absorber". I have never seen an Omega with this on the dial. Is this a legitimate dial from the time?

Also, the hands do not look like most vintage omegas I have seen, nor could I find a guide on hands that looked like the ones in the picture. Could these still be real or were they changed at some point?

My advice would be to steer well clear of this watch and spend some more time learning about vintage Omega watches before buying anything.

The dial is clearly refinished - the movement doesn't even have shock protection to the balance! I'm not sure if the movement and hands are original to the watch case but this piece doesn't warrant any further research.
