Hi,
I'm trying to identify my late father's first watch he ever bought. It's a hand wind and works just fine. Thanks in advance.

It probably would help to post an actual photo of your watch, not one taken from a Pinterest watch seller called "Oldetimers".

Yip, you are 100% correct. I'm trying to find a good photo and will upload ASAP.

We are pic hungry mongrels, post several!
I don't have the watch at hand, it's in my safe. The attached photo is the best at hand. I make bracelts, so that will explain the bracelts in the photo. Will get pics of the watch on its own.

It should be an Omega Tank with the famous T17 movement in it. The Omega caliber with the longest power reserve until 2007 😁

Its value depends a lot on the conservation of both the case and dial, as it's becoming very hard to find many with a pristine dial.

But we need better pictures for a better judgment

You asked us to identify your father's watch by posting a photo that was not only a different watch, but a different reference altogether. 👎

It's ok that you don't even know what you don't know, but please be straight with us.
