Saw this today at a local antique mall. Got a few picture but didn't open the case. Just looking at it the dial looks to clean and the crown is not original. The writting on the tag matches some of the counterfeit terms floating around other discussions I've read on this site. I'll go back tomorrow and get some pictures of the inside of the case back and the movement. At half that price I'm not interested but intrigued. Let me know what you all think!

It's a made-up creation. Fake. The only thing that might be Omega is the movement and there isn't evidence to confirm. Avoid.

Fanciful recreation of what somebody thought a Lufwaffe pilot's watch should look like.

A marriage watch created by the likes of Wandolec and his ilk. Utter crap.

Made in 1924 with a US circa 1940 airplane on it. Sure totally legit.

I'm glad these same thoughts were going through my head when I saw it. I'm inclined to talk to the shop about it so nobody gets taken. But who am I? The shop is one of those places that different people rent booth space for there goods. So it's not there's. I'm extremely new to horology and that's only the 2nd so called "OMAGA" I've sort of looked at. I will post these pictures in the fakes and frauds section when i get some more pics of the movement!

    Thanks for the comments.

    Straight Outta Ukraine.

    With an inflated price tag.

Case an movement are genuine Omega with soldered on lugs and a fantasy dial.

Value is probably less than 10% of price asked.

Who told you he was reputable? That is an obscene fraken.

If you like the look and that's what matters, then all is good. But it is a hogposh that holds no collector value, if that was what you were after.

Just don't bump it too hard or drop it.
Finding a new balance staff for that movement will be problematic.

It was worth more before the redial and lugs were added.

But as MP said, if you like it, then enjoy it.
