18mm Deployant clasp gen?

Hi folks,

I'm on the hunt for an ss polished 18mm deployant clasp in the older rounded style, ref 94521813. I found one on ebay but was wondering authenticity. At first glance what do your keen eyes think? (I've been to my AD but they only offered up the newer spear design)

The brushing behind the 'Omega' doesn't look right to me. Also, the Omega Logo looks odd too.

I'd suggest passing.

Thank you for your input, I was originally going to go for it, have it authenticated by a boutique and if anything foul, take advantage of eBay's money back guarantee but I think I might hold tight a little longer 馃憤.

Nothing pops out that screams fake, but there are many fakes around. I have that exact DP buckle (real) and it looks the same as your pics. It depends on the price, if it is reasonably priced it might be worth a punt. If you get it and it appears fishy, return it. This isn't exactly high finance.

A word of caution - I have several original deployant clasps that came with watches bought from various OBs. And I also have one found on Ali that carries the Omega logo. And it looks spot on to the original. The only way to distinguish them is that I accidentally scratched the Ali one 馃榾 other than that, I failed to find any indication, so please beware.

This on is fake, if that helps. Much rougher than OPs clasp and the pip over the E is missing.
