Not sure but I think it is real. My Geneve is stainless steel and ref 166.070 1969, however the omega fonts are slightly more exaggerated at the M. There are many exact examples of your type of font and mine on the net.

What year and reference is it?

The geneve were the the slightly cheaper range, they had variations in dial. Some geneve models had omega approved companies make or finish the dials like Singer. From mid 60s to late 60s to mid 70s they had been variations in all aspects of design.
