18k Calendar?

Just curious what's the demand like on these models?

It looks a little rough dial wise, but zooming in I actually wonder if maybe the crystal is making the dial look worse than it really is?

I think these Moonphase Calendars are one of the relatively undervalued models in the UG catalog, probably because it's not a chronograph. Even so, the movement is of course from Martel, and in fact it is one of the few complicated watches that one can find with Martel branding as well after 1950, these latter going for much less money. That's ironic, since it is in fact an "in-house" movement for Martel. This one is from about 1946 based on the case number. I like the dial and the moonphase disc for original, but I don't think they are in much better shape than in the pics. Good pickup on the bent lug, Sherbie.

This one gives the impression of having been rather heavily polished and the hands don't seem to match, but original dial I believe

I didn't realise they were that small, the second ad says 32mm!?

The complicated watches from UG vary tremendously from about 32mm (some boys sizes even smaller) to 46mm, these last commanding huge price premiums. While I've only ever seen cal 291 in one size, the chronograph movements come in several sizes.
