Good morning all, new here so please be patient.

Found this in my grand mother’s possesions, cannot seem to find many examples online, in fact only 1 which was sold through southerbys a few years back but had a sapphire missing.

Does anyone know how long they were produced for?

That is a beautiful watch. I would not be able to tell you the dates of the production run on it but one thing I would say is to have the claws on the diamonds on the left hand side seen to as they look like they have worn down and you may find yourself losing one or two of the stones very easily.

Gorgeous. You can check the serial number against the known Omega serial number ranges to date it (I think 17xxxxxx was in the late 40s?). Omega made a gazillion different styles of cocktail watch in the 40s-70s and these aren't well documented, so it'd be hard to tell exactly how long they were in production.

Serial number dates to approximately 1959, which is consistent with the 1960 date on the papers.
