    Hi omega fam!!

I was wondering if you guys could help with a problem I've been having. I got a gen service handset online to replace myself but I know that the subdial hands pinions are all of different diameters. Instead of relying on eyeball checking do you guys know if omega places them in the packaging in a specific order? (say from left to right subdial running second, subdial Chrono minutes, subdial Chrono hour )

I have a loupe but I don't exactly trust my eyesight and judgement 100% and would appreciate any guidance and advice you guys could provide

Looks like the left one is the hour recorder (largest), the middle is the minute recorder (second largest), and the right is the constant seconds (smallest).

These are very easy to tell apart once you have the package open.

    Cheers, Al

Question, on fitting the subdial hands; would you use the same size hand fitter, or do you adjust as you go up/down in size?

Different hands require different runners. In the case of a Speed, there would be one for the hour hand, one for the minute hand, and one that does all the sub dial hands, plus the chronograph seconds recording hand.

Nice work! How difficult is it to read the subdial hands?

    Thanks guys

Took a couple hours and I still managed to find a spec of dust on the dial afterwards ='(

The hands aren't also lined perfectly, like within a couple of degrees, hard to notice unless you're looking for it but I know it's there. Unfortunately I'll need to wait a couple months to do it since I just hand surgery on my wrist.

As for reading the sundials is sure hard without light at the right angle, sometimes it just completely blend into the background but at the end of the day the style requires this sacrifice and I'm gladly willing to give up legibility for that gorgeous iconic look.
