Recently I purchased old De Ville, which holds aftermarket leather strap.
I want to put original Omega strap on it.
But, the size of strap is 17mm not 16 or 18mm.
Most original Omega strap or just buckle only measures 16 or 18mm.

17mm band width is this much rare and it is difficult to find proper one?

Any suggestions?

 

Old De Ville lug width is 18mm. Why do you buy 17mm strap?
Original omega strap 18 16 is not so hard to find.

 

17mm strap matches perfectly with lug width.
When I measure the lug width, it is also 17mm not 18mm.

 

Be that as it may, an 18mm will squeeze into a 17mm lug; conversely, a 17mm does not look good on an 18mm lug.
