Hi, the watch was serviced by Omega in 2019/20. I expect that Omega refinished the case and it looks excellent. Hands, pushers, crown, crystal were replaced and originals are in a parts bag. The dial was not replaced at this service. The question is whether the dial could have been previously replaced or are there examples of a non T-dial being original for a 176.007.

Hello,

I think the dial was replaced and the old one not given in the parts bag or it was replaced before.

is this a spot on the dial at 38s on the 24h / second subdial ?

Simply a dust particle on the crystal

The Omega overhaul is a good thing in my opinion, the watch should work fine. The replacement dial is not a problem because it is not a refinished dial.
Il the case is fine, particularly the back with the seahorse I don't see any problem except if you want a 100% original watch.
Finnally there is the price...

Here is mine, which seems to be the same model :

Hi all, I’m in the market for a 176.007 and have seen one for sale. However, the dial is missing the “T” for tritium either side of Swiss Made. The seller assures me that the dial is original and that not all of the 176.007 had T on the dial.

I’ve spent hours online today but I haven’t seen any examples without the T. Greatful if anyone can help. Picture included for posterity.

Look at mine which has an extract. Consider the swirl on the subdial and look at the 110 plot marker. Also the lume plots. Then look at a poor condition donor dial I just saw online, again note the subdial. The one you posted looks like the a much thicker coating and no subtleties, also the 110 plot is off, that is all a red flag to me.

Thanks - also, comparing the subdials, I think that the numbers have a slightly different shape, another indication to me that this is service dial. Lovely condition watch but I passed on it given the need for a donor dial.

It’s all about what you want - agree it looked fine but there are more intact ones around and still not crazy prices. A lot of watch for the money.
