    Hello everybody,

I recently acquired a 22258 Tri-Compax which came on a horrible generic leather strap :

Turns out that my usual (newbie) suspects (Hodinkee, B&S,...) don't carry this size of straps. Does anybody know some manufacturers of good quality straps for 16mm lug width? I think I would like a brown suede one on this but every high quality alternative is welcome.

    Thank you for the help,

    Kevin

you will find some decent options on eBay by searching "16mm watch strap"...

Not my aim to be spamming, I just think that the offer on ebay is a bit overwhelming and looking for personnal experience or preference.

I suspect the obstacle that I believe you already discovered is finding "high quality" at the 16mm as most of high-end straps makers don't offer many options on this size. I have purchased from these follks in the past https://strappedfortime.com/ and http://store.fredawatchstraps.com/ and they carry a nice selection of leather straps in the size you are looking for...

Good luck hunting and come back and show us your Tri-Compax on some decent leather! ;)

BTW, cool looking watch you have there!
