FS: a beautiful ref. 168.005 Omega Constellation in 14k YG 'dog leg' case, as once designed by Gerald Genta.

The 2.53xx serial number on the quickset cal. 564 (successor to the non-quick cal. 561) dates the watch to about 1967, which matches the silver pie-pan dial in excellent original condition with black 'paint' on the indexes and hands. This gorgeous, damage-free dial really makes the watch 'pop' on the wrist.

This Constellation was fully serviced in October 2015 (and then sold to me) by renowned Dutch Omega specialist and dealer Ferrie Schweitzer (documentation is available). The photos of the inside were made by him at the time - the watch hasn't been opened since then. The movement runs within cosc specs and won't need any maintenance for a long time to come. The watch hasn't been worn more than a handful of times since its last service.

The case is still in symmetrical, good shape with nice observatory medallion. Crown and plexi have been replaced by mr. Schweitzer at the time of service by (obviously) original, signed examples (I may have kept the old crown, will have to look). The new Omega crown matches the case perfectly. To the best of my knowledge, all other parts are completely original and period-correct. Also included (for free) is a barely worn, generic but genuine alligator strap with gold toned buckle, as pictured.

My asking price for this sweet Connie is EUR 2.650 via bank wire.

The watch is located in the Netherlands, EU. Insured shipping at buyer's cost and risk (buyer may choose method of shipping). Local pick-up welcome for buyers with solid references.

I can be reached at [email protected] for any questions. Plenty of worldwide references available on request.

Return for full refund (minus shipping/insurance/customs charges) within 3 days if not original or not as described/pictured. Returned watch must be received in the same condition as when it was originally shipped. Any possible customs charges, such as import duties or taxes (not applicable within the EU) are the responsibility of the buyer.

    Thanks for the space :)
