Extremely over-polished case with a water damaged dial and a missing bezel. Avoid.

Looks genuine to me, but it's in horrible shape. Dial is ugly, observatory and stars have been completely polished off the caseback, etc.

The crown is also a replacement from what I can tell, might be wrong as I am just going off of memory.

Ahh I see.. I guess I'm not expecting it to be in the best shape for $500 USD but I'll consider it. I'll still take more feedback though thanks OF friends

I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole, better off saving yourself the $500 usd and saving up for a better example!

Not even good enough for a parts watch, I'd run from this one.

So I told the guy I'm not interested.. but he really wants to offload it. What's an absolute steal of a price for this condition?

What would you consider a "steal of a price" for this example then? Just wondering 😀

I don't think there is any amount of money I would pay to buy it, if you payed me for my time I would go pick it up.

+1
I can't see any reason why you would want to spend anything on this watch
Knackered case
Knackered dial
Knackered medallion
Very questionable movement in dire need of a service

Save your money
