Dial is original in my opinion, case refinished, insert is from late 80's and glass is a service one.
Impossible to say if it was relumed by these pictures.

Is it me, or do you all see a "blob" of tritium bubble at 12 o clock?

Guys, is simply naive (not to say stupid) to discuss about lumes only by looking at pictures.
Even with professional macro shots it's really impossible to make statements with any possible solid ground.

There are a lot of irregularities in that dial. Other than the ones noted above, the coronet looks like a cross between a Mk II and a Mk III. From those pics the coronet looks too smudgey to be a Mk III

While you may have held more Rolex watches than everyone else on here combined or may have held none, someone with 4 posts coming in and calling other's comments naive / stupid is not well received. There are plenty of ways to get your point across without sounding like you're on reddit. We shoot for a modicum of civility in these parts.

Sorry if I being frank I sounded rude, it wasn't my intention, and I apologize if mrsdre was offended.
I still think that idea of understanding the complex texture and quality of a lume by those pictures is really too simple, and, as scholars and enthusiasts, isn't helpful for the OP and for the community if we give the wrong message.

Yea the spacing on OP watch in the depth rating is just so different from this watch. The = is in a totally different position to my eye.

Again I'm not sure, but there's enough difference that it would make me and I'm guessing others question it.

Would be interesting if someone knew if there was a wide spaced depth rating variant drsd dial that hasn't been described.

No offense taken, the forum is here to help serve each other, to help one another. I apologize if my comment would derail the initial assessment of the watch.

    thanks @t_swiss_t nonetheless :)

I see a strange blob of a dial that seems off.

Notice the waffle pattern on the lume? That is present on many 70's sports Rolex, and probably very difficult to fake.

Just found this. Watch is a complete fake. There are no SDs in this case number range. I hope the op didn't trade it.

    Cheers

definitely the dial (at least) is not from the accepted 4 marks for 1665 double red...
Lume looks like hills specially the triangle also the SWISS T<25 is too wide and too big to fail :))

    Here is a pic of a 1665 i had

It was discovered as a fake by the OP from this thread and subsequent IG convos.

We’ve learned a thing or two from you Jose!
