    Even though I'm not in a position to buy a new Omega right now, I came across this watch during one of my frequent online searches:

    I couldn't find much info online at all about this watch. Maybe I've got the ref. wrong...I believe it's from the 80s and the caliber is 1022.

    As you can see, it comes in a Speedy 125-style case (but looks thinner). That strap is clearly not original, but Ofrei does show a service bar-style bracelet for this ref. number which looks like it would indeed match the case.

    What I'm most interested in is the textured-looking outer ring on the dial. Can anyone shed any light on that? It almost looks like fabric has been applied!

    I think this watch would look great in the bar bracelet and I'd love to see some pics if anyone here has any.
