    Ive never seen seamaster/geneve on crosshair. i read seller's description and google a little, but can someone make comment on this piece please? appreciate.

    Take some other opinions but, the cross hairs look strange under the Genève. Almost like the line has been erased.

    I think this is of the same standard as most eBay watches. It's been polished and he admits that. He says it's been serviced and that may be true but it doesn't look good work to me. The movement still looks dirty and you can see something on the ratchet wheel, at least one screw is not correct and the case clamps/screws are dirty/rusty. You can't blame the last watchmaker for scratches and damage to the screws but it should be clean at least. Note that the rotor was/is rubbing on the caseback.

    It's all down to price in the end and how much your friend wants it.
