Hello all. I'm looking for a bezel for a 1965/66 SeaMaster. I'm having trouble locating this and any help would be most appreciated! Thank you

This chap can probably make you a bezel, but he is based in the UK and I see you are in Connecticut. But it could be worth a try if all else fails.

I'm sorry of I wasn't clear. I contacted omega and they suggested I send it to
their NJ USA service center. But I don't know is they would really have a bezel from 1965/66

Nobody in the USA is likely to have a bezel for a Dennison cased Omega. These cases were made solely for the UK market, and Dennison (of Birmingham, England) went out of business over 40 years ago. Unless somebody else from the UK knows different, I doubt that anyone over here would have spares for these cases either.

These 9k Dennison Seamasters from the mid 1960s turn up on the UK market from time to time, and seem to fetch between £900 and £1200 GBP. I was intrigued, because I already knew that Dennison stamped the last three digits of the case serial number on the back edge of the case near a lug (usually the lug with the hallmark), but I had not realised that they also stamped it underneath the bezel. So we learn something new everyday . . .

The UK ebay is something I had not considered (I checked my own), but that seems perfectly logical to me. I mean, its far more likely to turn up there with parts than here. Thank you !

It may be the angle of your photos, but you lugs look out of balance - the bottom lugs look mugs shorter and thinner than the top pair

apart from this, i doubt dennison ever made the same case twice the same way - so there is real risk in buying another ALD cased seamaster from ebay

getting a bespoke one made is the way to go

ps is this a family heirloom?

ps - pls dont take this the wrong way, but i,m not a fan of the dial

It is not a family heirloom, I just came across it and picked it up. I really seem to like it. I've never owned a Omega, but I've got almost 30 other watches with the majority being rolex. There is just something that calls to me. You know that feeling right ?

The lugs are ok in person. Mechanically it's running like a top and the case has been cleaned up nicely. An appropriate crystal was put on it as the one in the pic has some type of laquer splatter in it. I also sourced a correct nos leather band and buckle.

and i do not take offense at all, this is why so many fine watches were made, everyone has diff tastes. im so very appreciative for all these tips.
