Have been thinking of getting a vintage SM300 for a while, but never pulled the trigger.
A few weeks ago I was contacted by a seller who offered me a well worn 165.024.

I know these dials are often damaged, washed and relumed. I initially thougt the index of whe watch was relumed.
But after googling last night I´m not sure anymore. What do you say?

Minute and hour marker could be a later but older replacement

Isn't the pin hole at the 12 and/or 6 o'clock markers the sign that it's original?

i heard about that pinhole too, but mine hasnt these holes either and i don´t think that it was relumed given the condition i bought it in.

Based on the dial image. 11 - 2 indexes are relumed and minute hand looks to be a little later replacement

    Thanks all.
I'll just calculate they are relumed and examine the dial better when I get it.
    I'll post better pics then.

fairly certain that is original lume on the dial, nicely aged too. The pin holes do not always show on original dials (although you have one at the 12 marker), also some dial restorers are wise to this now and incorporate pin holes so it is no longer a 100% trustworthy way to tell.
I think only lots of experience of both good and bad dial lume can give you the tools to tell.
