Hey everyone I am looking to find myself a 165.020 seamaster de ville. I have been doing a lot of research on the forums and I think I’m getting better at finding redials, but this one I just found kind of stumped me. It’s a 165.020 from 1967. The things that drew red flags are the M in automatic, and the first E in seamaster.

I’m going to attach pictures of a 1964 vs 1967 De Ville.

Did omega change the text a little in the late 60s? Or is it just a redial? Thank you everyone in advanced! Lookin forward to leaning more about this reference.

Don't see any issues with either one, nice original no-lune dials.

There were text variances which can be attributed to age as well as dial supplier.

A front on shot is preferable to assess a dial but from that picture I’d say original.
