I purchased this lovely 165.014-64 Seamaster 300 recently and although I enjoyed it, it just didn’t click with me. It’s got a beautiful wrist presence and the patina is striking in my opinion.

This is my first sale here on OF so please bear with me as I try my best.

Case: The case still has thick lugs and looks to have been polished before. I’ve tried to capture its honest wear and tear along the watch in my photos as best as I can. The caseback is marked 165014-64 and the Omega Seahorse is still visible.

As you are all aware, these bezel inserts are often destroyed and so this one has a beautiful Rene replacement bezel.

The crystal is original and has the visible omega symbol at center. The crystal has a spot of damage just to the left of 12 o clock position on the outside but I have not opted to change it. There is a spare crystal that will be included free of charge.

Dial: The dial is in good condition as can be seen from photos. It has a lovely custard and yellow hue and in direct sun settings it is darker and a richer. The hands have a patina that matches the dial match well. I have been told by the previous seller than he wasn’t sure if the hands had been relumed and I also cannot tell. The texture on the hands and dial are similar and when exposed to UV it reacts but then appropriately fades quickly.

Bracelet: It includes an original 7912 bracelet that exhibits mild stretch and has reproduction 6 end links. The clap reads “7912” and it appear to be dated as “2” and “64.” There are stretch links on both sides. With the watch, the bracelet will fit a 7.4-7.5” wrist. I have a 7.25” wrist and it fits me comfortably and I am notched in on the 3 micro adjustment of the clasp.

Movement: the movement is a caliber 552 and the service history is unknown however it keeps good time since I’ve owned it without issues. The serial number is 22.5 million making it approximately 1965 I believe.

I am new to selling here and can get references as requested. I have used the same username across various forums and on eBay over the past decade plus. My asking price is $6150 inclusive of overnight and insured shipping within the USA.

I am open to international transactions as well but more discussion may be needed on best method of shipment and the cost of shipping will be in addition.

I can be reached at civic4982 at hotmail dot com or via direct messaging here or in Instagram under the same username.

Great patina and this 1965 165014-64 Omega Seamaster 300 is way cheaper than snagging a similar era gilt 5513 Rolex Submariner ;)

Buy this to be my enabler for pouring more into watches.

    Thanks for looking!
