After a lot of internal back and forth on this issue, I think for me the 38m-42mm case size range is just the most optimal... Mr. 1601 was born in 1963, with the cal. 1565 transitional butterfly rotor movement inside. Uniquely patinated, 'starry sky', black dial with gilt print, obviously never retouched or refinished in any way. Alpha hands, white gold fluted bezel, nicely aged hooked 7 date disc. The works. Unknown prior service history, but will take it to my trusty local watchmaker, Sam Kalter, here in Philly, to be checked/regulated before shipping. Watch head only. Happy to include one of my own handmade #OMGRLX straps, should the buyer so wish.
