My second favorite watch, and pretty much my daily beater. Still they look nakid when they do not have the rotating bezel. Never really noticed the watch was so large, It wears small, especially with the leather band. Great watch, and I sometimes think the best watch ever made. Even if low on the radar, which is a lot of what makes it great.
So the original crystals on these are actually flat, and give a 12 mm thickness, the updated crystals are domed and significantly thicker which is why you’ll see such a disparity in reported thicknesses but 12 mm is the original. I might need to make a correction to add that detail as your crystal is the correct service crystal with the domed top, as presumably the original flat plexi wasn’t quite strong enough to meet pressure requirements or something.
