Hi, I recently I have owned an Omega 15 Jewel open face Pocket watch. It's serial no is 10532947. I'm interested to know the manufacturing year of this watch and also keen to know the metal used to make it.
I am posting some images of it which may help to ID it.

    Regards

The serial number dates the movement to the mid-1940s.

Look at the completed listing section of eBay under "Omega Pocket Watch". There should be plenty of similar watches there.

I suspect you will find that these watches sell for no more than $300 in a sterling silver case, less if case is steel.

Pocketwatches are not that desireable in the vintage watch market these days.

gatorpa's price assumes its running well. If its not running you'll be lucky to get $100.

The edge of the case looks bent and the case also looks discoloured, if its gunmetal and a bit rusty these things drive the price down hard.

In that condition, I would suggest this is basically a "donor" watch, of interest only to someone who needed a part to finish a project! Not collectible.
