Just listed..... and thought it might be worth a post of its own

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161297358891Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Looks nice and the seller is open to offers, but I´m not sure about the length of those hands :p

And the pictures are terrible - low resolution and no clear look at the dial.

Actually, still worth a discussion - will delete the post in the recommended watches on ebay thread.

So this watch started as 14 K Constellation case, Cal 561 , ref 2852 with common dial (probably white or silver).
Then somebody who had seamaster pie pan dial (which its case probably had been melted) swapped it to the Connie case, to make it a 'special' SMPP who had roughly double the price of common 14K Connie 2852.
    Blasphemy........

I think the whole watch was a Constellation that somebody slapped the Seamaster dial on.

It´s a cal 503 so I think the dial and hands probably started out together

That would make even more sense.
