Hi, I did a bunch of searching and couldn't find any mention of this. I recently bought 3570.50 with a 1499/842 bracelet. Today I was doing some close-up examination (I was sitting on a conference call) and noticed a small engraving near the clasp. As you can see, it says "HBD" and is slightly crooked. Does anyone know what it is? The only thing I can come up with is it was a birthday present for someone.

 

Haven't seen that before neither, seems to be a bit mis-aligned as well so likely a custom marking of some sort

 

I have a1498/840 with HBB marked on one of the removable links. (Photo). I’ve seen similar marks on other omega bracelets. My 1998/849 has IJJ stamped on the terminal link at the clasp. Maybe it’s a date code?
