1479 bracelet question

Hi Omega Forum. I noticed my 1479 bracelet has “strings” or wires joining between the each of the links .. is this normal ? I only just noticed this after getting the watch a week ago..

That's really interesting, never noticed this before. I just checked my 1479 and it has the same marks - although they appear to be notches in the links, rather than any actual joining wires? Could be a leftover mark from the steel folding / joining process?

Cannot see this phenomenon on my 1479

I believe I spot them know. Pretty faint. Obviously the thread head has a pristine version
