    Hello:
Gentlemen, I inherited this watch that I purcahsed in 2002 for a family member. He had Parkinsons, removed the original bracelet and install a cheap twist.
I want to restore with a vintage bracelet which I believe to be the ref 1171. I see several for sale in price range of 800-1,000k.
My question is do I need to also purchase the end lengths which some include or charge extra for ?

    Thanks
    Dutch

You can get aftermarket ones, but that would kind of negate the point of buying the vintage strap. Try and buy with end links included...

You can buy a new 1171/1 with 633 endlinks at a Boutique. The correct end links for a 1171 on a speedmaster Pro is 633.

No reason to get the vintage one for a 2002 watch. The 1171/1 with 633 was available in 2002.

Here is my 145.022-76 on the 1171/1 with 633 endlinks.

I think the watch is a ST74, only purchased in 2002.

    Yes.

The 1171 bracelets were used for different watches and with different end pieces.

Make sure you get a 1171 or 1171/1 or 1171/633 along with 633 end pieces.

    Maybe it’s unclear.

Without a dial shot and a serial number. I don’t think that 03 number is a serial, as the paperwork denotes a 1861/1863

:) I meant the headline of the thread , not the 030 on the booklet

If the watch is indeed a 145.002-74 then you can either use a 1175/640, 1171/633 or a Holzer bracelet but the latter would make more sense if the watch was delivered in Mexico. 1171 with 633 end links would be your cheapest option.
