Dear Omega friends, I found this 69 861 Speedy. Honestly, what do you think? At the moment, the first owner and I, are "dancing" around the price !!!

    Beatifull dial turning brown
    DON
    Unpolished
    Bracelet 1168
Only one service at the 80´s in Omega Argentina

    Many thanks in advance !!!

Beautiful watch, just picked up a chocolate speedy myself. I say go for it if the movement is ok and the price is fair.

I think most people like to see an applied Omega symbol on the dial to call an early 861 a "transitional."

And long indices. As I understand it, transitional = a 321 watch sans 321 movement (and on later serials, square-ended seconds).

    But still, looks fantastic!

Very nice looking watch! Not technically a transitional, but a nice early 861..

No, is a very rare Omega original 1168 bracelet. Here is the picture from Alberto Isnardi book The Master of Omega

Very vey nice. Lovely dial and bezel and the hands are a perfect match.

Be sure on the movement etc but if the price is reasonable I'd be moving on that.

Feel free to pm if you want an opinion on price.

I see 5 reasons to do it, and the only one and a half to not- half would be the price and how well it's keeping time/functioning- but if the price is right, hop on it.

This is a nice dial which I really like it .
Bezal is also in good shape , so just 861 inside needed to be look.
    Good luck on it.

These tropical dials are getting more valuable. Get it before somebody else does.

I would get it now. the beautiful patinated dial alone is worth the deal - and the pristine DON-bezel is a bonus too. now it all depends on the price
